Travel Auctions Takes on the Perth Caravan & Camping Show 2026
If there’s one thing we love more than a great getaway… it’s helping Aussies score one for less! We had the pleasure of doing exactly that at the 2026 Perth Caravan & Camping Show. From the moment the doors opened at Claremont Showground, the Travel Auctions team was buzzing, meeting adventure seekers, caravan enthusiasts, and holiday lovers, all keen to discover how to travel smarter and see more for less.
This year’s show brought together thousands of road trippers and outback explorers, and right at the heart of it all, our stand was alive with energy, engaging conversations, and plenty of “ahhhh!” moments as we introduced Western Australians to how Travel Auctions can help them see more for less. Following our recent expansion into the WA market, it was fantastic to connect face-to-face with customers, operators, and the community, sharing insights into how we work and showing just how easy it is to save on travel.

Our Site That Made People Look Twice!
From the moment the gates opened, our stand became a hub of curiosity, conversation, and plenty of “wait… how does that work?” moments. While Travel Auctions has been helping Aussies travel smarter for over 34 years, our expansion into WA is still fairly new, so this exhibition was all about connecting with WA travellers and showing those who hadn’t discovered us yet how easy it is to save money and travel for more.
To stand out, we brought a little extra fun: a spinning wheel giving the community the chance to win lots of goodies, and Travel Auctions vouchers. Safe to say, it turned heads!
We connected with hundreds of attendees, walking new customers through how exciting and simple it is to bid on incredible holiday packages, think luxury stays, coastal escapes, and outback adventures, all at prices that genuinely surprise. And yes, there were plenty of “I wish I knew about this sooner” moments too.
New Faces, New Members
One of the biggest wins? A wave of new user registrations joining the Travel Auctions community on the spot.
There’s something about seeing the platform in action, asking questions in real time, and chatting face-to-face that really clicks. People didn’t just stop by, they signed up, got involved, and started imagining their next trip before they’d even left the stand.
Beyond the buzz, what really made the show special were the conversations. We spoke with seasoned travellers, first-time caravanners, families planning their next school holiday escape, you name it. And across every chat, one thing stood out: people are actively looking for smarter ways to travel. Especially with the recent worry of fuel prices rising, people need to find other ways to save on so they don't have to compromise their holidays.
That’s where we came in, sharing tips, breaking down the auction process, and showing how Travel Auctions can unlock better value without compromising on experience.
More Than Just a Show
While the crowds brought the energy, the show also opened doors behind the scenes. We had the chance to connect with industry partners, tourism operators, and like minded businesses, building relationships that will help us continue to expand our WA product, bring even more exciting packages and destinations to our users.
The 2026 Perth Caravan & Camping Show wasn’t just about being seen, it was about growing the Travel Auctions community, strengthening our brand presence, and having meaningful conversations that turn into real travel experiences.
